Rearview graphic designer, Grace Needler, recently teamed up with a talented group of friends to launch a fundraising campaign for a worthy cause. 100% of profits garnered from the cards will be donated to a very special family in need (more below). Affirmation Notes are designed to encourage the women in our lives and give you the opportunity to do the same. Each set comes charmingly packed in a kraft bag tied with twine – the perfect Christmas gift for a loved one (or yourself)!
On July 7th of this year, Kevin Schumacher, 27 years old, received a diagnosis of stage 3 testicular cancer: a crushing blow to a young man and his family (wife, Jamie, and two children). The past few months, Kevin has been undergoing chemotherapy to fight the aggressive cancer, which spread to his lungs and abdomen. Throughout this process, miraculously, Jamie also found out she was pregnant with their third child.In their small, Ohio community, support has rallied around this family to provide monetary help with medical expenses not covered by insurance. On top of that, the goal of Affirmation Notes is to bless them with extra support for the holiday season so not only are their bills paid, but they also won’t have to worry about pulling together extra funds for Christmas gifts and other needs.
