Thanksgiving week is finally here! Amongst all the memorable moments spent with friends and loved ones, we recognize the meaning of this thankful holiday. In preparation for Thanksgiving, we wanted to share some of the things our team is personally thankful for this year. We hope you’ll also take some time this week for your own Thanksgiving reflections.
I’m thankful for ceilings and countertops. After remodeling for a year and not having them for three months, you learn not to take things for granite (see what I did there?). Oh and most definitely my rock star husband and two cats.
-Grace
This year I am most thankful for my lovely daughter who was born in June. She lights up her parents’ world each and every day with her smiles, giggles, and happy self. Also, I am very thankful for those nights that she is able to sleep through the night.
-Nick
I’m most thankful that we’ve all made it this far, my family (both near and away), and for all the lucky moments that have brought me where I am today.
-Darrell
I’m thankful for my family, friends, and my new work family that has been the warmest welcome I’ve had from a company. Also tacos for sustaining my very existence.
-Ari
Each Thanksgiving I look forward to eating delicious foods and spending time with loved ones. Even though this is a fast-paced time of year, I love how Thanksgiving reminds me of all that I am thankful for. I am so very thankful for healthy family and friends and for all that God has given me!
-Ashley
I’m thankful for being able to live comfortably and happily, and for the opportunities that have come my way. Also coffee.
-Miles
I am thankful for my two kids and my wife. And for my coworkers who make it awesome to come to work. And my dog. And opportunities in life.
-Alex
I’m thankful for the amazing small moments in my life, like when my son climbs onto my lap even though he’s far too big for it to be comfortable, my husband bringing home my favorite hummus even though it wasn’t on the list, just because he knows I like it, our dog being excited to see us every time we walk in the door, or a phone call from a friend that could have been a text but instead turns into an extraordinary conversation.
-Jen
Thanksgiving always reminds me how thankful I am for my loving family and wonderful friends. I hope everyone has a happy holiday season spending time with their favorite people.
-Brian
I am most thankful for all of the experiences I have had in my life that have led me to where I am today. I am thankful for my amazing parents (step-parents included!), my brother, and my two step-sisters. I am also thankful for my wonderful, sweet, supportive boyfriend, who is the most considerate person I have ever met in my life. He just gets me, and I am very lucky. I am also thankful for Rearview! I’ll be coming up on my 1 year work anniversary next month, and I am so grateful for the opportunity to work with such an amazing group of people.
-Alexis
Around this time of the year I’m most thankful for family, *cough*Dressing*cough*, friends, *cough*Dressing*cough*, health, *cough*Dressing*cough*, comfort, *cough*Dressing*cough*, and of course Dressing!
-Malcolm
My family means the world to me, and this year I feel very blessed for the opportunity I have to spend more quality time with my sister now that I live closer to her. Since moving away from family and friends, I am thankful for the trips I take back home to visit with my parents, grandparents, and church family. I am also extremely grateful for the life experiences I have had that have led me to where I am in my career and getting to spend every day doing what I love.
-Elyssa
It’s hard to come up with something on the spot when you’re asked but I’m thankful for a lot of things. My friends who are always supporting me, my family who is always there when I need them, the opportunities I have been given, and I’m thankful for nature! I’m constantly out hiking and climbing, honestly, I’m not sure what I would do without it.
-Travis
I’m thankful for smiles and how they are contagious. My 6-week old daughter has recently started smiling and it has been one of the coolest things to experience as she grows. It has helped remind me how important it is to stay positive and how a simple smile can change a person’s day or even life. Where the focus goes, the energy flows. OH and I’m thankful for coffee, lots and lots of coffee.
-Kristen
We hope you enjoy this holiday season filled with warm wishes, delicious food, and memories that will last a lifetime. Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at Rearview!
